Swallow Yarn Barn is situated in the colourful surroundings of Swallow studios in Annyalla County Monaghan.

 I am a textile Artist who specializes in Batik art on silk I have developed my own style using a mixture of silk painting and wax resist dyeing to create very colourful and unique works of art

I have done a number of large commissions for public buildings including Credit Unions and Schools. These large tapestry type wall hangings were done in collaboration with Hand Weaver Liz Christy the combination of silk painting/batik and handweaving creates a very unique and dramatic effect.

I have also done a number of smaller versions of these wall hangings as presentation pieces.
